In these hard times when we are all struggling to survive in this tough economic environment, we must all realize that there are many in worse positions than us.

I’m not going to mention stats, which you can look up yourself in the CityHarvest site, but we at Aboveground understand that every little bit helps. Although we havent been very public about it, we have pledged that 20% of all Food Cop: NYC Edition proceeds would be donated to CityHarvest. In fact, we have just donated what amounts to around 50% of Food Cop’s earnings.

I urge all readers of this site, customers and friends to take some time to visit the CityHarvest site, read about what they do to help those who are hungry and in need, and make a donation if possible. They will take any amount, and even the smallest amount will help those who are struggling and need a helping hand.

There are no boundaries when it comes to those in need, and even if you are not in NY, I hope you will still take a look, and try to help if possible.

We at Aboveground will continue to help in whatever way possible, and hope you will join us in this worthy fight against hunger.
