Much to my chagrin, development of the iPhone version of Castle Combat has been a lot slower than I expected. The addition of online multiplayer has caused considerable delay in the project, due to the half-assed OpenFeint multiplayer library. Consistency is not its strong points. I would consider building it from scratch and offering it as a service if I had the time, but alas, right now I do not.
In any case, it is close to being complete. Transparent matching for hooking up random games is complete, as well as challenging a friend for targeted games. Currently working on some art & design issues that come from porting down from the iPad, and will then work on new cards, re-balancing, and a couple other features that I’ve had in mind.
